    In addition to submitting the application for admission, we require the following documents to complete your admission file:
     

    First year applicants

    Transfer applicants with less than 30 credits

    Transfer applicants with 30 or more credits

    International applicants will submit the following items in addition to the requirements for first year or transfer applicants

    1. High school transcript with completed junior year grades

    2. SAT or ACT scores or academic resume if applying test optional

    3. Application essay, which you must complete in the application

    Mount Marty offers admitted students merit scholarships between $12,000 - $17,000 per year based on GPA. We also offer the following scholarships, which require an application and possible interview or material submission:
     

    Application-based scholarships:

    St. Scholastica Scholarship Interviews

    1. Mission Scholars Program: For students looking to grow in their faith at Mount Marty. Scholarships are up to $2,000 per year. Read more about the program hereThe deadline for fall 2023 students has passed.

    2. Seton Education Scholars: For students looking to teach in a Catholic school in Nebraska or South Dakota after graduating from Mount Marty. Scholarships are up to $10,000 per year. Read more about the program here. The deadline for fall 2023 students has passed.

    3. Avera Nursing Scholars: For students looking to become nurses and begin their career in an Avera Network facility. These are forgivable loans of $20,000 per year in a student's third and fourth year. If students work in an Avera facility for three years after graduating, the loan is forgiven.     4. Fine Arts Scholarships:

      • Audition-based: Reserve a spot to audition, virtually or in-person, here for Choir, Theatre, and Band. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $4,000 per year.

      • Portfolio-based: Submit your art or creative writing portfolio here. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $4,000 per year.


    The St. Scholastica Scholarship Interviews are for fall 2024 and fall 2025 students who have an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher (first year or transfer). Students interview with one or more Mount Marty faculty members and can earn scholarships between $1,000 - $3,000 per year. Upcoming dates:

    • Fall 2025 students: April 8 - 12
    • Fall 2024 students:
      • November 13 - 17
      • January 22 - 26
      • March 21 - 22 (virtual only)
    Registration will open approximately two months prior to the interview dates.
