Join the Mount Marty University community to immerse yourself in the Catholic, Benedictine traditions of prayer, work, and holy leisure. During this special event, hosted by our two Benedictine missionaries, Kaylee Miller and Ted Bengston, you will meet with the Benedictine Sisters of the Sacred Heart Monastery, Father Grant Lacey, and faculty from our decorated theology department. The day will conclude with complimentary lunch in our dining hall.

This is the perfect event for a student interested in learning more about how Mount Marty can help you grow in your Catholic faith as you pursue an academically excellent education on our beautiful campus in Yankton, South Dakota. You will visit the Oratory, a special prayer room on campus; attend Mass in the historic Bishop Marty Memorial Chapel (pictured below); meet Mission Scholars and learn how they earn scholarships by professing their faith on campus; and talk with the sisters from Sacred Heart Monastery, who founded Mount Marty in 1936.

Experience Benedictine hospitality and the value of work, prayer, and holy leisure. Experience South Dakota's Catholic University. Guests are welcome to attend.
