Sister Mary Arthur Schramm Nursing Scholarship Interview & Visit

Mount Marty University presents the Sister Mary Arthur Schramm Nursing Scholarship, a $30,000 per year award meant for high school or college students looking to study nursing. Students are encouraged to consider eventually enrolling in in the university's highly selective nurse anesthesia practice doctoral program, though that is not a requirement for receiving this scholarship. Sister Mary Arthur Schramm is an excellent retired nursing faculty member who was involved in developing nurse anesthesia as an academic discipline. Interview with Mount Marty nursing faculty to be considered! Register for an interview below. This immersive program will include:

    • Interview with faculty from the Nursing Department
    • Faculty-guided tour of the Avera Science & Nursing Center
    • Sitting in on a nursing class
    • Meeting with Admission Office representative
    • Complimentary lunch for you and your guests in the Mount Marty Dining Hall

This scholarship cannot be combined with any other Mount Marty scholarships, and students planning to participate in athletics at Mount Marty are not eligible. To be eligible for this prestigious interview process, you must have at least a 3.9 high-school or college GPA and plan on majoring in nursing at Mount Marty University.

If you complete the visit and are not selected to receive this scholarship, you will automatically receive a $3,000 per-year Scholastica Interview scholarship, which can be added to your merit scholarship and other Mount Marty awards.
