    Fall Open House Saturday, October 18 at 9am

    Join us for Fall Open House! We will tour campus, have lunch and preview financial aid information like merit scholarships, when to apply, and what we look for in an application.

    Learn more about our core values of awareness of God, community, hospitality, and lifelong learning. Hear from our students about their involvement in the Benedictine Leadership Institute, in which all students learn about the Rule of Benedict and embark on class trips to the Black Hills of South Dakota and to Estes Park, Colorado. Register here.


    Nursing Visit Day Friday, October 24 at 10am

    Tour campus, meet fellow classmates interested in this exciting field, have lunch with nursing department faculty and experience our state-of-the-art nursing simulation labs in the Avera Science & Nursing Center. New to campus this fall is an Anatomage Table. The Anatomage Table is the most advanced real-human-based 3D anatomy and medical education system. This state-of-the-art platform offers digitized human cadavers, superior medical learning tools, and realistic 3D anatomy experiences, transforming medical education and training. 

    Mount Marty nursing graduates can be directly admitted into our highly competitive Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) if they graduate with a 3.6 GPA and complete two years as a nurse in an intensive care unit. Register here.


     


    Theatre Visit Day Friday, November 7 at 5pm

    Join us for an immersive theatre experience. Participate in a meet & greet with current Mount Marty students and faculty, get a sneak-peak behind Marian Auditorium's stage, and enjoy dinner and the performance! This fall's play is Rock of Ages

    You can also audition for a theatre scholarship during your visit. The theatre program completes at least three productions a year. Register here.


    Exploring South Dakota's Catholic University Monday, November 10 at 9am

    Join the Mount Marty University community to immerse yourself in the Catholic, Benedictine traditions of prayer, work, and holy leisure. During this special event, hosted by our two Benedictine missionaries, Kaylee Miller and Ted Bengston, you will meet with the Benedictine Sisters of the Sacred Heart Monastery, Father Grant Lacey, and faculty from our decorated theology department. The day will conclude with complimentary lunch in our dining hall.

    This is the perfect event for a student interested in learning more about how Mount Marty can help you grow in your Catholic faith as you pursue an academically excellent education on our beautiful campus in Yankton, South Dakota. You will visit the Oratory, a special prayer room on campus; attend Mass in the historic Bishop Marty Memorial Chapel; meet Mission Scholars and learn how they earn scholarships by professing their faith on campus; and talk with the sisters from Sacred Heart Monastery, who founded Mount Marty in 1936. Register here.


    The Saint Scholastica Scholarship Interviews Monday, November 17 - Friday, November 21

    Students can interview either virtually or in person with university faculty to earn renewable scholarships in the amounts of $1,000, $2,000, and $3,000 per year. To qualify you must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA (unweighted if in high school). By participating, you are guaranteed a $1,000 per year scholarship. All interviews last approximately 25 minutes. Interviews on November 17 and 21 are in-person. Following the on-campus interview, you are welcome to tour our beautiful campus, have lunch or coffee with your admission counselor, and meet with faculty.     Individual Campus Visits

    We look forward to welcoming you to South Dakota's Catholic University in this individual campus visit format! You will be able to tour our beautiful Yankton campus, meet with an enrollment counselor and connect with faculty. You can also take this opportunity to sit in on a class, enjoy lunch on campus, or attend daily Mass with the sisters of Sacred Heart Monastery. Start times are 10am or 2pm Monday to Friday.
